While waiting for news from the unlock source, we have some things to do.

As some of you already noticed, I added a Captive Portal.

If you have not seen it, then follow the instructions:

  • Disconnect from Wi-Fi and remove the profile
  • Restart the device
  • Before connecting to Wi-Fi, enter the DNS server address 78.109.17.60
  • Click the back button and wait for 5 seconds
  • Connect to Wi-Fi and enter the password

Captive Portal appears as a browser window with buttons back and forward.

Also, there should work a video in full screen, please test it and write in the comments testing results.

Captive Portal is not a new feature, it appears when you connect to paid Wi-Fi. But at home it difficult to create.

Now it’s easy to use for everyone and we have a new place to look for bugs.

Also there is a separate Crash after which crashes Captive Portal, and it is necessary to study the behavior of the phone in combination of different crash methods at the same time.

The good news is that if Apple will ever closes the ability to connect to the server menu to which you have already got used, I’ll replace everything to the Captive Portal.

Captive Portal is a necessary function for the devices, so Apple never removes it, that’s why iCloud DNS Bypass will always work.
